1. Who is responsible

1.1TAXYOU TAX AGENCY L.L.C. (TAXYOU, we, us) is the controller of personal information it receives for enquiries, recruitment and freelance collaboration through this website and related correspondence. Contact contact@taxagency.ae for privacy requests or write to Office 803, Golden Business Center, Airport Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

1.2Personal data means information about an identified or identifiable individual. Processing includes collecting, reviewing, storing, using, sharing and deleting that information. This notice addresses our website and initial correspondence. Client engagements and employment may require additional notices, agreements and statutory records. Applicable UAE data protection law governs our processing; this notice does not remove your statutory rights.

2. Information and purposes

2.1You may provide your name, business, contact details, enquiry, report requirements, deadlines and correspondence. Applicants and freelancers may also provide qualifications, professional experience, availability, location, languages, profile links and a CV or work samples. Relevant assessment notes and follow-up information may also be created during your application. We use relevant information to respond, scope proposed services, assess applications or collaborations, and administer resulting discussions.

2.2Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser/device details, request times, requested pages and security events to deliver and protect the website. Our current site has no payment checkout, advertising pixels or marketing analytics configured. Browser storage and external resources are described in our Cookie & Storage Notice.

2.3Do not send passport or Emirates ID copies, bank details, health information, criminal records or confidential client documents through an initial enquiry or application. If specific records become necessary, we will arrange an appropriate process separately. Only provide other people's information if you are authorised to do so.

3. Why we may process information

3.1Depending on the purpose and applicable law, we process information with your consent, to take requested steps towards a contract or perform a contract, to meet legal obligations, or under another applicable statutory exception. We do not treat merely visiting this website as consent to unrelated processing or marketing.

3.2For applications, the form requests consent to assessment. Future-opportunity retention and consideration for client introductions are separate, optional choices. Withdrawing optional permission does not prevent consideration for a current internal opportunity. We do not make solely automated hiring decisions through this website.

4. Recipients and overseas processing

4.1Relevant TAXYOU personnel and service providers supporting hosting, security, email and professional administration may access information as needed for their functions. Providers acting on our instructions are processors; a client deciding its own hiring or project purposes may act as a separate controller. This static website is intended for TAXYOU’s web-hosting service. The hosting, email and any enabled security providers may process technical information under their service arrangements. The design fonts are hosted locally with the website, without requesting Google Fonts when you visit.

4.2A CV/profile is not authorised for unrestricted disclosure merely because it is sent to us. Client or delivery-partner introductions follow the separate Recruitment & Freelancer Privacy Notice. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary for lawful legal proceedings. We do not sell applicant information or publish CVs on this website.

4.3Email, hosting or other providers and authorised recipients may process data outside the UAE. Where applicable, transfers must meet the relevant legal requirements, using appropriate safeguards or a permitted exception. A checkbox is not blanket approval for any overseas transfer. Contact us to ask about a proposed recipient, destination or applicable safeguards before sending sensitive material.

5. Retention and security

5.1Enquiry information is kept for the discussion and any resulting engagement, and then only as needed for applicable legal, accounting, regulatory or claims requirements. Unsuccessful or inactive applications are normally removed from active recruitment records within six months of the last substantive application contact. Where future-opportunity consent is given, the talent-pool period is up to 24 months from that contact, unless consent is withdrawn earlier. These six- and 24-month periods are TAXYOU policy limits, not statutory retention periods.

5.2If you are engaged, relevant records move into the employment or engagement process. A limited record of permissions, withdrawals, disclosures or a dispute may be retained as necessary to demonstrate compliance or handle legal claims. Retention exceptions do not permit continued talent marketing after withdrawal. Provider logs and backups follow their applicable service retention cycles; restricted backup copies are not used for ordinary recruitment.

5.3Appropriate technical and organisational safeguards are required for personal data. No website or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. This does not limit TAXYOU’s statutory security or breach-response obligations. Initial email is not a secure document portal; ask us to arrange an appropriate channel before sharing sensitive records.

6. Your choices and rights

6.1Subject to applicable law and its exceptions, you may request information or access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where available, and withdrawal of consent. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions of the applicable law, and we will explain any lawful restriction on a request. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority, including the UAE Data Office where applicable. Some records may need to be retained under a legal obligation or for legal claims.

6.2Email contact@taxagency.ae with the subject Privacy request and explain your request. We may ask for proportionate verification before releasing or changing information. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing lawfully carried out before it; it may mean we cannot continue an assessment that depends on that information. Consent-based future contact or new client disclosures will stop without undue delay following withdrawal, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Any processing retained under a separate lawful requirement will be limited to that requirement.

6.3We will update this notice when practices or requirements change and show the revised date. Material new uses requiring consent will be presented separately; a notice update does not retrospectively expand an earlier permission.
